How it all began

I was one among those very few kids who preferred Camera over Cricket Bat at the age of 14. Photography didn’t happen by chance .  Having been grown with film cameras ever since I was a kid all I did was breaking. My first camera was given to me at 1999 it was a canon 3 step zoom camera . My Very first picture was  a silhouette of my brother against sunset with the sun on his wide opened mouth.

Whole family came up with one single question “What the hell is this? We cant even see his face.?” And my journey began with years together of landscapes the confidence ratio shoot up and I made my SLR purchase by 2002. It was a  Minolta Dynax 5. Having got a dream in my hand I was all excited to shoot and planned a trip to Gods own Country Kerala. 6 rolls of Konica was in my bag which I saw N number of times. Shoot Shoot Shoot & Our car parked in any/every place enroute.

“What the hell is this? We cant even see his face.?”
Flowers,Birds,People,Seascapes,Interiors,Food,Snakes I have shot almost everything. Came back to my beloved Konica lab expecting some series of stunning photographs  only to realize 90% of photos were either under/over exposed and the rest were out of focus. It only made me realize the film lot was fully under or overexposed and we could only see few pictures which went out of focus. Well it made me realize im not gonna handle something easy.

The journey lasted for 3 more years until I moved to digital at 2005. Canon 350D came to me and my perception towards photography only got better and better. For a person who used Film rolls definitely knows I have a genie in the name of Digital format.

Wat was i dreaming?

Will people cherish my photos
Will 100s and 1000s like my work
Will i be appretiated in media
Will i ever be appreciated by legends
Will people take me as inspiration
Will Will Will

Every will was answered with a big Yes but how?

Well what am I gonna share here?

Rain,Camera Malfunctions,Broken Lens,Ruined Films,Vehicle Breakdowns,Customs hassels all over the world,Lousy guides,Uncooperative Critters,Waiting at office/airports/stations for travel/permission/interviews,Bribes demanded,Frozen at Minus degrees,Mosquitoes,Food poisoning,Snakes around tent,roaches,Leeches,Chased by elephants/rhinos/cheethas,Crazy drivers,Crazy river crossing,Rock Climbing,Visa rejected,Too many Fines,Too many pick pockets,Dislocations,Diarrhea,Temporary blindness,Dehydration Everything along with these and lots of more experiences.

Stay tuned….
